OATA’s Conference and AGM is approaching at the beautiful Arboretum in Guelph. We invite you to join us!
The Ontario Art Therapy Association (OATA) was founded in 1978, which means we’ve represented our therapist for 47 years. We are excited to gather in person to honour our roots as well as plant seats of growth and change that advance is our profession.
Our keynote address titled "Love is a Line that Doesn’t End: Entanglement, Disability Justice, and Creative Praxis" presented by Patricia Ki RSW, RCAT, PhD with Jacquie Compton, RP, RCAT, and Sharlene Friedman RCAT, RP.
In addition, the conference will feature workshop presentations and sharing stations, offering many opportunities to engage in creative art therapy activities, knowledge-sharing, and community learning. Together, we’ll reflect on accessibility, equity, and the transformative role of art therapy.
