“I found I could say things with colour and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for.”
Georgia O’Keefe

I am.
… an artist and art therapist who enjoys exploring art making through creative modalities. I share this expressive approach and guidance through my practice as registered art therapist, supervisor and educator.
In the spirit of community connection and sharing, the blog section showcases artist stories and reflections, creative prompts, additional art therapy information, self-care tips and other resources.
Create. Connect. Collaborate.

Create.
Often through the lens of an artist and art therapist, I view art creation within the context of meaningful and engaging connections.

Connect.
The creative process highlights the many layers of meaningful connections that can occur; to the art ... to the self … to others.
Through these interwoven connections the wealth and richness of an individual’s creativity and inner resources are revealed.

Collaborate.
Connection within collaboration occurs through a shared creative experience whether individual, group or community-based, and whether engaged in the art experience as a maker or witness.
“...You have a tremendous amount of content, from storytelling to resource sharing and all of the supplemental photos. The site really feels like a resource. We’re in the habit of quickly scanning through a site to grab hold of the information we need. Your site invites the viewer to slow down, hang out, read, contemplate, connect, play. It’s wonderful. ”
