The TATI Student Art Therapy Centre offers online virtual art therapy groups facilitated by TATI students carrying out their thesis research. The Centre has also offered affordable professional development workshops particularly for new art therapy graduates and students.

Kate Moo King-Curtis and Monica Joseph will be facilitating an upcoming group, “Voices in Colour - A Virtual Art Therapy Group for Black-Identifying Youth” in January.

Emily Yang will be facilitating an upcoming group that aims to find out whether art therapy, a non-medical intervention, can support participants to reduce stress-related symptoms of eczema at the end of December.

Art Therapy Survey Invitation

Do Canadian art therapists and art therapy students feel prepared to address the mental health impacts of ecological crisis, and how can the field develop to meet this growing need?

Art therapists and art therapy students in Canada are invited to participate in this anonymous survey (approximately 20 minutes) to help address this important question. No experience or expertise on this topic is required – all perspectives are valuable! This research is part of Toronto Art Therapy Institute student Amy Tschupruk’s thesis project, who intends to create a digital resource on her findings in addition to her written thesis.

The survey will be open until January 15, 2025. To participate please visit survey link:  https://forms.gle/vHtnSR1SsCfnwHgx8=
