Exploring Nature as Object & Backdrop. Creative Prompt.

Prompt: Exploring Nature: Object and Backdrop.

More contemplative engagement in nature happens when guided by an eco-art focus, gently reminding us to be present in the moment, noticing ALL the intersecting details of colour, form and line within the natural context while encouraging one to notice potential and possibility… first through the creative prompt experiential… and then….

Your mind is a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds. The harvest can either be flowers or weeds.
— William Wordsworth

Invitation.

Inspiration Backdrops: Capturing Colours, Lines and Textures

Sharing below…. Nature as object… with my Pappus treasure (or seed head)… exploring nature as backdrop during a Saturday morning stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington.

The tiny seed knew that in order to grow it needed to be dropped in dirt, covered in darkness, and struggle to reach the light.
— Sandra Kring
For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.
— Cynthia Occelli
Just as you would not neglect seeds that you planted with hope that they will bear vegetables and fruits and flowers, so must you attend to nourish the garden of your becoming.
— Jean Houston
