Heart Art - Creative Inspiration

Creative Inspiration.

Invitation.

Just an invitation to connect with the heart image this month. The heart shape is such a simple yet powerful image and universal form and symbol.

Gratitude, love, hope, pain, loss and remembrance are just a few themes that can be explored, expressed, contemplated and meditated upon …
What is your intention?
Does your heart art come from a place of joy, or play, reflection… or other need?

‘Notice’ heart forms in your home… out in nature… or in the elements and objects of everyday
♡ ‘Create’ heart imagery, writing, assemblage, found art and/or personal narratives…
♡ ‘Be inspired’ from the felt feelings of your heart….creating or writing from that mindful and emotional state of reflection
♡ ‘Engage’ with the heart image in a meaningful and nurturing way to redirect your thoughts and bring yourself into the present.

Materials.

• Any materials or process that resonate with you at the moment… drawing… painting… sculpting… assemblage… collage… mixed media… eco creations… photo art etc

Thanks to Jenny McSpadden & Aldona Morrison for providing photos of their heart creations (and noticing) for inspiration below.

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.
— Thorton Wilder
For my part, I am almost contented just now, and very thankful. Gratitude is a divine emotion: it fills the heart, but not to bursting; it warms it, but not to fever.
— Charlotte Brontë
