Celebrating a Life Well Lived!
Remembering Dad through Past and Present Moments… His 94 Years!
Photo collage pages above are from the album I created for Dad this year to cue memories to support his progressing Dementia.
So nice to hear that North Halton Golf Course lowered their flags in honour of Dad (a long-standing and well known member who was still golfing with his grandson at 91!!)
The Palliation doctor commented: “I heard your dad was dancing three months ago”. I amusingly replied: “He was dancing a week ago at the Amica Hawaiian Party!” And… The beauty of music… I took his dementia music player to the hospital and we were still ‘bed’ dancing two days before he passed (wiggling his hips, tapping his toes, shrugging his shoulders and I even got a wink!)
Lots of beautiful condolences are trickling in… Thank you from the bottom of my heart… xoxo, A
